- To know the steps Remote MikroTik
- To find out what software can be used for Remote MikroTik
Basic Concepts :
- Mikrotik is a small company based in the state of Latvia, adjacent to Russia which is engaged in the production of hardware and software associated with the computer network system. Mikrotik made by John Trully and Arnis Riekstins.
Steps by Steps :
1. Remote MikroTik with Telnet
On Windows Operating System, can be use cmd (Command Prompt), then use command telnet on cmd. But earlier, its first open port 23 in Windows by enabling Telnet Client.
Click Star > Control Panel > Programs & Features > Turn Windows Features on off
Cecklis on Telnet Client. then click OK
If done Activated, now open cmd, then use command telnet ipaddressmikrotik
telnet 192.168.88.1
It will display the login MikroTik
2. Remote MikroTik with SSH
If you use a Windows Operating System, you can use software named Putty, open putty and will appear login.
Enter the IP Address MikroTik, its default port 22, with SSH Connection Type, and then click Open
It will be a black screen appears, login with admin.
If you use Linux, you can use SSH Client. Open Terminal/Console then use command ssh admin@ipaddressmikrotik
ssh admin@192.168.88.1
Write yes only if it appears as above, then will appear MikroTik OS as below.
3. Remote MikroTik with Winbox
Open Winbox Software, Click on (...), will appear many MikroTik devices as below. No address Mac Address, there is also its IP Address. Have a Mac Address and IP Address.
Try to Connect MikroTik with Mac Address, IP Address do not wear, so if it turns MikroTik IP, will not cut off its connection Remote Access. Do not forget to log in default admin, and the password is blank.
If Done, Then click Connect

4. Remote MikroTik with Webfig
For remote with Webfig, could use a Web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox etc.
In the Address Bar, type the IP MikroTik who want in Remote.
Below the display to login. login with admin name and password blank. If done, click login.
If you are logged in, following this webfig display. To view in my opinion is almost similar to Winbox software.
